Service Description

Thank you for booking your private event at Sandpoint Ceramics! With Jamie's guidance, each participant will create their own mug or bowl using handbuilding methods (pinch-pot or slab). If more time is needed for details such as carvings, attaching handles, etc., participants may return for Open Studio within 2 days. Projects must then fully dry and get fired in the kiln. Participants will return within 3 to 6 weeks to glaze, then projects will get fired a second time. Pots will be ready for pick-up within 2 weeks of glazing. All clay and glazes are nontoxic stoneware, so they are safe for food, the microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty and please bring your own hand towel!
