Service Description

Join us for a fun afternoon of glazing hand-made pottery created right here in our vibrant studio located inside the iconic Cedar Street Bridge! Enjoy 2 hours of studio time with guidance by a seasoned pottery pro and custom paint your own piece of stoneware with a selection of over 85 glaze colors! This registration is for $15 per person for a group of up to 10. This does not include the cost of the items to be painted or additional guests (15 is our maximum capacity). At the time of the event, guests may choose from our large array of hand-crafted and bisque-fired mugs, tumblers, flower pots, bowls, plates, vases, coasters, necklace pendants, ornaments, and more (in-store availability varies weekly depending on what we've been creating!). Prices range from $5 to $45 and may be paid by card or cash at scheduled event time. These projects will be take-home ready within about 1-2 weeks after glazing. All clay is stoneware, which is safe for food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Most glazes are food-safe, but a small selection are not, so guidance will be provided when glazing. Sunshine on Cedar is open right next door to the studio until 8:00pm serving food, beer, and wine. You are welcome to bring food and drinks into the studio. There will be a $50 fee for rescheduling or cancelling with less than 1 week notice.
