Service Description
These 6 sessions provide a more experienced level of throwing with a focus on larger scale and more complicated forms such as berry bowls, chip & dip platters, donuts, stacking, and closed-form lidded vessels. A demonstration of a new form technique will be provided at the beginning of each session. Students will have unlimited Open Studio time to work on greenware and glazing. Wheel time for trimming may need to be reserved. If you are unable to attend one of the sessions, you may reserve the wheel during Open Studio time for 2 hours, but the new form technique may not be demonstrated due to Jamie's other responsibilities in the studio. Level 3 may be repeated. Students who complete Level 3 are eligible to move on to Level 4... the Emerging Artist Program! Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty and please bring your own towel because you’ll need it! Clay, tools, and glaze included. All clay and glazes are nontoxic stoneware, so they are safe for food, the microwave, dishwasher, and oven.
