Slab Mugs, Vases, Tumblers, & Pots!

Service Description

Join us for two fun afternoons of creating custom mugs, vases, tumblers, and pots! Recommended for ages 10 and up. SESSION 1 Sunday, November 9th 12:00-2:00 Enjoy 2 hours of studio time with step-by-step guidance and demonstrations by a seasoned pottery pro (Jamie!). Handbuild your own pottery masterpiece using the slab method and choose from a variety of texture and carving tools to fully customize your surface details. SESSION 2 Sunday November 23rd 12:00-2:00 (glaze date may be rescheduled if needed) Return to glaze your new favorite vessel choosing from a selection of over 85 glaze colors and manifest some glaze magic! These projects will be take-home ready within about 2-3 weeks after glazing. Clay, tools, and glaze included. All clay is stoneware, which is safe for food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Most glazes are food-safe, but a small selection are not, so participants will be guided to use glazes with discretion. Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty and please bring your own hand towel! Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Depending on upcoming availability, missed sessions may not be refunded or rescheduled.
