About the Studio:
THE COMMUNITY CLAY STUDIO, SUITE 206
Located upstairs in the iconic Cedar Street Bridge, our Community Clay Studio (the classroom) is the only one of its kind in Sandpoint, offering a variety of unique classes and workshops tailored to all skill levels. Learn how to throw clay on the potter's wheel, handbuild mugs, bowls, plates, pinch pot sculptures, and other unique works of art, or paint a pot that was hand-crafted by Jamie right here in the studio! With 5 electric potter's wheels, a slab roller, industrial tables with seating for 10, an electric kiln, stoneware clay, and over 80 glaze colors to choose from, your creative potential is unlimited! All clay is stoneware, so projects are safe for food, the microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Most glazes are safe for food, however, some are not, so guidance will be provided when glazing.
