2-Day Snowman Workshop Ages 10 and up!

Service Description

Get your hands in clay to make something you'll love... a ceramic snowman! Children 6-9 may be accompanied by an adult who can help, but seating may be limited to those who register for their own seat and snowman. SESSION ONE Saturday, February 21st 12:00-3:00 Enjoy up to 3 hours in our vibrant studio creating with clay! A handbuilding professional will provide instructions, demonstrations, and all the guidance needed to create a one-of-a-kind work of art. You'll have absolute creative freedom to customize your snowman any way you can imagine! Snowman will be limited to 10" tall and 5" wide. SESSION TWO Saturday, March 14th 12:00-3:00 (glaze date may be rescheduled if needed) Return to glaze choosing from our selection of over 85 colors! Depending on how much detail you paint, glazing may be completed in 1 to 3 hours. These projects will be take-home ready by March 28th (unless participants reschedule glazing). Clay, tools, and glaze included. All clay is stoneware, which is safe for food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Most glazes are food-safe, but a small selection are not, so guidance will be provided when glazing. Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty! Bring your family and friends or come alone and meet new people! If scheduling for a group of 3 or more, please text Jamie to ensure enough seats are available (805) 630-5685. Sunshine on Cedar is open right next door to the studio until 8:00pm serving food, beer, and wine. Place your order and they will serve you right in our studio! Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. Refunds will be limited to $30 per person unless we can fill your seat.
