Service Description
Join our vibrant community of potters, handbuilders, and sculptors in the iconic Cedar Street Bridge! As a member, you'll enjoy access to a range of studio amenities and resources to fuel your creative pottery journey. Whether you’re a seasoned ceramicist or in the early stages of your pottery adventure, this membership is designed to offer flexibility and convenience as you explore handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques. WHAT'S INCLUDED: CLAY! 25 pound bag of white stoneware clay with or without grog. Additional clay may be purchased for a pro-rated fee which includes all additional costs of resourcing, glazing, & firing extra pots ($4/lb). GLAZE! Access to 15 5-gallon buckets of food-safe dipping and layering glazes and 24 underglazes. All 85 glazes in the Community Studio are also available. You may bring in your own glazes that have been approved by Jamie. WHEELS! Reserve a wheel for up to 4 hours at a time! Wheel access is for potters who have taken at least one Potter's Wheel class or wheel orientation in our studio. KILN FIRINGS! 1 bisque and 1 glaze firing for all projects made with your 25 pounds of clay at our soonest opportunity, usually within 2 weeks of turning in your projects. Please do not bring in extra clay and fire more than your allotted amount. DISCOUNTS! 10% off classes & workshops! STORAGE! Full shelf for storage 4' W x 2' D x 1' H PUGGING! Exchange your reclaim for new clay! COMMUNITY! Our community of potters and handbuilders is growing strong! We are building friendships, sharing knowledge and lessons learned, inspiring one another in our craft, and supporting each other through our personal pottery journeys. The wealth of knowledge shared amongst members is invaluable! SALES! Participation in our pottery sales is included! TOOLS! Access to a variety of texture tools, stencils, and slab roller in the Community Clay Studio. Note: Members must provide their own pottery tools, towels, & tubs.
