One seat per sign-up Anyone who has created 1 or more projects in our studio within the past 3-4 weeks and is now ready to learn about our glazes and begin glazing. Children 8+ may be dropped off for any lesson other than Tuesdays. GLAZING DEADLINE DATE RANGE Please check the dates on the handout provided during your class session and book your glazing appointment during the Glazing Deadline window. All projects must be glazed within those dates. NOTE After your first Glaze Days lesson, all remaining projects may be glazed during our OPEN STUDIO hours posted on the website. You do not need to schedule another Glaze Days appointment. Be sure to finish glazing before your listed deadline. SCHEDULE -12:00 Rinse your bisque-fired project to remove any dust. -12:05 The lesson begins! We will explain how our glazes work and how to apply them. We will provide examples of different techniques and answer all of your questions. Want to paint images or patterns? Our underglazes are perfect for that! Want to go for full coverage of color with a little glaze magic? Our stoneware glazes provide amazing results! Want to make some texture pop? Try the wipe-back technique! We also have a selection of over 100 stencils for tracing images and patterns. -12:20 Begin glazing! One project may take 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on the size and complexity of your design. If you don't finish by 2:00, you may return during Open Studio hours to continue glazing until your masterpiece is complete (no additional fee)! Please remember to finish before your glazing deadline. Once turned in, projects must dry and then get fired again. PICK-UP We do not provide notification when projects are ready (we fire hundreds per week!). Please check the dates on the handout provided when you took your class. Most projects will be take-home ready within 1-2 weeks after glazing depending on how many projects are ahead of yours -- we are a full-service studio with 25 members and hundreds of students and other guests monthly, so our kilns are always firing! PICK-UP DEADLINE Please be sure to pick up your work by the deadline. Abandoned work will be removed from the studio after the pick-up deadline on your handout. IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE...
