Service Description

FOURTH SATURDAY EVERY MONTH 3:00-5:00 Click "BOOK NOW" to choose a date! Ages 2–8 (older siblings are welcome to register, too!) Make, glaze, and keep a ceramic project! $30 per child One parent or guardian may accompany up to 4 registered children at no additional charge. Parent/guardian participation is required throughout the class and during clean-up. Children love the hands-on experience of working with clay—it's squishy, creative, and fun! Because clay can also be messy and challenging for young children to manage, a parent or guardian may need to assist children. SESSION ONE - MAKE! 4th FRIDAY EACH MONTH 3:00-5:00 Using 1 pound of clay, children will create a project of their choice with demonstrations and guidance from the teacher. Finished pieces will dry slowly before being bisque fired. SESSION TWO - GLAZE! Reserve your seats for the glazing lesson on our website under GLAZE DAYS FOR NEW STUDENTS. Return in 3-4 weeks to glaze your masterpiece choosing from over 100 colors. Projects will then be glaze fired and ready for pickup in 1–2 weeks. $30 Registration includes: One child (one parent/guardian may accompany up to 4 children) 1 pound of stoneware clay Tools and instruction Bisque firing Glazes and glazing instruction Glaze firing All clay is stoneware, which is safe for food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Most glazes are food-safe, but a small selection are not, so guidance will be provided when glazing. NOTE: Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty! PICK-UP DEADLINE is 45 days after making. Abandoned work will be removed from the studio after 45 days. Refunds or credits for cancellations within less than 24 hours will not be issued (this includes gift certificate value). Refunds or credits for cancellations within 3 days of the event will be limited to $15 per person unless we can fill your seat (this includes gift certificate value). Due to limited schedule availability, missed sessions will not be rescheduled, refunded, or credited.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for booking with Sandpoint Ceramics! We look forward to creating with you! Please review the cancellation and rescheduling policy listed in the description of the class, course, or workshop you booked. Because we offer a wide variety of classes, courses, and workshops, our cancellation and rescheduling policies vary depending on the type of event. Some offerings have no specific cancellation restrictions, while others have deadlines that determine eligibility for full refunds, partial refunds, or rescheduling credits. Certain classes may not allow refunds or credits for missed sessions. Important Information: Cancellation deadlines: Refund and rescheduling eligibility depend on the specific policy for your booked class or event. Gift certificates: Bookings made with gift certificates are subject to the same cancellation and rescheduling restrictions as other payment methods. Missed classes: Missed sessions may not be eligible for refunds, credits, or make-up opportunities, depending on the class. Limited availability: Because class sizes are limited and instructors and materials are scheduled in advance, last-minute cancellations can prevent other customers from participating. Please refer to your original class description for the specific cancellation and rescheduling terms that apply to your booking. By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree to those terms. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact Sandpoint Ceramics as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our small business!
