Potter's Wheel Level 3 WED 3:00-5:00

Service Description

These 6 sessions provide a more experienced level of throwing with a focus on larger scale and more complicated forms such as berry bowls, chip & dip platters, donuts, stacking taller vessels, one-piece lidded vessels, and throwing off the hump. A demonstration of a new form technique will be provided at the beginning of each session. Then throw anything you want for the remainder of the class with Jamie's support. Students will have unlimited Open Studio time to work on greenware and glazing. If you are unable to attend one of the sessions, you may reserve the wheel during Open Studio time for 2 hours, but the new form technique will not be demonstrated. Level 3 may be repeated. All students are eligible for membership, and members receive 10% off all classes and workshops! NOTE: Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty and please bring your own towel. Clay, tools, and glaze included. All clay is stoneware, which is safe for food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Most glazes are food safe, but a small selection are not, so please choose glazes accordingly.
