Service Description
This is not a class. Includes clay, tools, glaze, & kiln firings. Prior experience highly recommended. Text Jamie to schedule (805) 630-5685. Cash or credit card payment will be made in person. Want to take a spin on the potter's wheel without the classroom structure? The Potter's Wheel Pass is for you! This is an independent, self-directed option that does not include in-person tutorials or demonstrations. Jamie and/or one of our interns will be present in the studio, but will not be available for teaching. Instead, written directions for basic steps and procedures will be provided. WHAT'S INCLUDED: ONE POUND OF CLAY! One pound of stoneware clay will be provided. You may purchase more clay in the studio at the rate of $4 per pound. The cost of additional clay includes the cost of additional glaze, larger shelf storage, and larger kiln space required for 2 firings. TIME! Two full hours on the wheel. Potters are responsible for clean-up. You may schedule time within the following week to trim, make attachments, and underglaze if desired. TOOLS! Access to a large variety of tools, texture rollers, and stencils. GLAZE! Our glazes are available to anyone who has taken at least one class in our studio and is familiar with our glazes and process OR register for one of our upcoming Paint-a-Pot sessions ($15) to learn about our selection of over 95 glazes! Glazing experience in our studio is required. 2 KILN FIRINGS! 1 bisque fire and 1 glaze fire included. Projects will be ready for take-home approximately 3-4 weeks after they're made. Check our social media posts to see if yours is ready! NOTE: The potter's wheel is difficult and not recommended for anyone without experience. If you have never learned to throw on the potter's wheel, classes are highly recommended. Consider signing up for the Potter's Wheel Experience or a 6 week Potter's Wheel class. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Bring a towel! It's time to get your hands in clay and make something you'll love!

Cancellation Policy
Thank you for booking with Sandpoint Ceramics! We look forward to creating with you! Please review the cancellation and rescheduling policy listed in the description of the class, course, or workshop you booked. Because we offer a wide variety of classes, courses, and workshops, our cancellation and rescheduling policies vary depending on the type of event. Some offerings have no specific cancellation restrictions, while others have deadlines that determine eligibility for full refunds, partial refunds, or rescheduling credits. Certain classes may not allow refunds or credits for missed sessions. Important Information: Cancellation deadlines: Refund and rescheduling eligibility depend on the specific policy for your booked class or event. Gift certificates: Bookings made with gift certificates are subject to the same cancellation and rescheduling restrictions as other payment methods. Missed classes: Missed sessions may not be eligible for refunds, credits, or make-up opportunities, depending on the class. Limited availability: Because class sizes are limited and instructors and materials are scheduled in advance, last-minute cancellations can prevent other customers from participating. Please refer to your original class description for the specific cancellation and rescheduling terms that apply to your booking. By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree to those terms. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact Sandpoint Ceramics as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our small business!
