Reserve a private event at Sandpoint Ceramics! Our vibrant studio located inside the iconic Cedar Street Bridge provides the perfect location to celebrate special events and spend time with family and friends. Choose from the following options and text Jamie to schedule. We will send a registration link to handle booking and payment online, or schedule a time for cash payment in advance. All projects will be ready for take-home approximately 1-4 weeks after the event to allow time for drying, bisque-fire, glazing, and glaze fire (timing varies depending on what you make!). SLAB-BUILDING WORKSHOPS Up to 8 people Ages 7 and up 2 visits (2-3 hours each) Make mugs, vases, bowls, tumblers, etc. Return in 3-4 weeks to glaze. $50 per person PAINT-A-POT Up to 10 people All ages 1 visit (2-3 hours) $15 per person plus the cost of the item they glaze ($5-$45) SGRAFFITO WORKSHOPS Up to 10 people Ages 8 and up 1 visit (2-3 hours) Paint and carve a pre-made tumbler ($50 per person), side plate ($40 per person), or ornament ($20 per person) POTTER’S WHEEL EXPERIENCE Up to 5 people Ages 8 and up 2 visits (2 hours each) Make cups, vases, bowls, tumblers, or pots Return in 3-4 weeks to glaze. $65 per person DATE NIGHT ON THE POTTER’S WHEEL Couples may share a wheel and make 1 project together ($65 per couple) or each person may reserve their own wheel and make their own project ($130 per couple) Up to 5 wheels available Ages 12 and up 2 visits (2 hours each) Make cups, vases, bowls, tumblers, or pots Return in 3-4 weeks to glaze. ADULT & YOUTH HANDBUILDING WORKSHOPS Up to 10 people Each workshop is different. Make mugs, vases, bowls, tumblers, ornaments, wall art, slab boxes, butter dishes, sculptures, etc. Return in 3-4 weeks to glaze. Age range, number of visits, and prices vary depending on the size and complexity of the project KIDS PLAY WITH CLAY Up to 4 kids Ages 2 and up 1 adult guardian required to be present (included in registration) 2 visits (1-2 hours each) Make pinch pot cups, bowls, creature sculptures, etc. Return in 3-4 weeks to glaze. $30 per child THE HANDBUILDER'S PASS or THE POTTER’S WHEEL PASS Not a class. Recommended for people with experience. We provide the clay, tools, equipment, glaze, and kiln firings. You bring the creativity! Sunshine on Cedar is open right next door to the studio serving food, beer, and wine. Place your order and they will serve you right in our studio!
