These classes are designed to support potters along their wheel-throwing journey helping them create taller, thinner, and more refined pieces. Each focused session emphasizes advanced forms and production-oriented techniques to help build precision and confidence at the wheel. Classes are ideal for intermediate to advanced students looking to strengthen their skills, explore new forms, and refine their craftsmanship in an instructive studio environment. CLASS OFFERINGS ● Tall & Thin - Techniques for getting more height and form out of your clay ● The Perfect Mug - Refined cup forms & batch handle-pulling techniques ● Soap & Oil Bottles - Collared forms and neck shaping for functional vessels ● Jars & Lids - Throwing honey pots, moon jars, butter bells, and more ● Pitchers - Techniques for large, balanced pitchers & pulling handles for tall pieces ● Big Big Big Series: Bowls, Vases & Jars (5lbs+) - Techniques for throwing large-scale pieces ● Trimming & Finishing - Refining your forms and footwork for professional-quality results ● Handles! - Mastering handle-pulling and attachment techniques ● Repetition Throwing - Developing speed, consistency, and production-level efficiency ● Plates & Flat Things - Techniques for throwing a variety of plateware and flat forms ● All One Piece: Planter Pots & Drainage Trays - Throwing multi-part pieces in single, cohesive form ●Skill Builder Fix It Clinics - Common mistakes and how to correct them( slumping walls, wobbly rims, uneven thickness) CLASS FORMAT ● Duration: 2 hours per session ● Structure: Instructor demonstration & guided individual practice ● Materials: Equipment & clay provided ● Focus: Technique refinement, form development, and efficiency on the wheel CLASS REQUIREMENTS ● Foundational wheel-throwing skills ● Ability to confidently center 1–3 lbs of clay ● Basic knowledge of trimming, scoring & attaching, and studio tools/environment
