WAITLIST Play with Clay! Ages 2-6

Service Description

Children absolutely love the tactile experience of working with clay! It is moldable, squishy, and fun! However, it can also be very messy and challenging to control, so adult assistance is required for children 6 and younger. Otherwise, the kiddos usually just end up playing with mud! SESSION 1 Children ages 6 and younger will explore and experiment with 1 pound of clay (with the assistance of a parent or guardian). The possibilities are endless! 30 minutes of demonstrations and guidance will be provided by the teacher (Jamie!). Projects will then slow-dry and get fired in the kiln. SESSION 2 Return to glaze your mini masterpiece in 3 weeks with a selection of over 70 colors. Projects will get fired a second time and will be take-home ready in 1-2 weeks. This $30 package includes everything; clay, tools, demonstration & instruction, bisque fire, glaze instruction & materials, and glaze fire. All clay and glazes are nontoxic stoneware, so they are safe for food, the microwave, dishwasher, and oven.
