WAITLIST FOR POTTER'S WHEEL EXPERIENCE Sign up here to get your name on the waitlist for upcoming classes! When signing up, please specify your preferred dates & times where it says "Add Your Message". We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and get you on the wheel as soon as possible. CLASS DESCRIPTION Experiment with 1 or 2 pounds of clay on the potter’s wheel and make your own pot! Jamie will provide all of the instructions, guidance, and demonstrations needed for you to make your own bowl, vase, or mug. This class is for beginners and anyone needing a refresher. The one-time wheel session covers the basics of throwing, including centering, opening, pulling, and shaping. Open studio time is included for additional surface decoration. Return in 3-4 weeks to glaze with a selection of over 65 colors! $65 registration fee includes everything; clay, potter's wheel demonstration & instruction, bisque fire, glaze instruction & materials, and glaze fire. Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty and please bring your own towel because you’ll need it! All clay and glazes are nontoxic stoneware, so they are safe for food, the microwave, dishwasher, and oven.
