Service Description
PLEASE DISREGARD JANUARY 2027 DATE. THIS IS THE NOTIFICATION WAITLIST ONLY, NOT A CLASS :) SIGN UP HERE TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN WE ADD KIDS POTTER'S WHEEL CLASSES! Kids ages 7 and up will learn how to throw pottery on the wheel and make their own cups, bowls, and pots. Unlimited open studio hours for greenware and glazing are included. This small group class of 5 students will meet on future scheduled dates for 2 hours of demonstrations, guided practice, independent practice, and clean-up. It is for beginners, but experienced kiddos are welcome! The first sessions are on the potter's wheel and cover the basics of throwing, including wedging, centering, opening, pulling, shaping, and managing greenware. The final lesson introduces glazing. Students may select from our collection of over 100 glazes! Glazing may be completed during Open Studio sessions. All glazing must be completed within 30 days of the last session. NOTE: Students must be able to reach the pedal on the potter's wheel, follow directions well, and work/clean up independently. We're looking forward to getting your kiddos' hands in clay!

Cancellation Policy
Thank you for booking with Sandpoint Ceramics! We look forward to creating with you! Please review the cancellation and rescheduling policy listed in the description of the class, course, or workshop you booked. Because we offer a wide variety of classes, courses, and workshops, our cancellation and rescheduling policies vary depending on the type of event. Some offerings have no specific cancellation restrictions, while others have deadlines that determine eligibility for full refunds, partial refunds, or rescheduling credits. Certain classes may not allow refunds or credits for missed sessions. Important Information: Cancellation deadlines: Refund and rescheduling eligibility depend on the specific policy for your booked class or event. Gift certificates: Bookings made with gift certificates are subject to the same cancellation and rescheduling restrictions as other payment methods. Missed classes: Missed sessions may not be eligible for refunds, credits, or make-up opportunities, depending on the class. Limited availability: Because class sizes are limited and instructors and materials are scheduled in advance, last-minute cancellations can prevent other customers from participating. Please refer to your original class description for the specific cancellation and rescheduling terms that apply to your booking. By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree to those terms. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact Sandpoint Ceramics as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our small business!
