Youth Workshop; Personalized Pinch Pots!

TWO DAY WORKSHOP Get your child’s hands in clay to make something they'll love... a personalized pinch pot! SESSION 1 -- MAKE! Thursday, May 22nd 4:00-6:00 Jamie will provide instructions, demonstrations, and all the guidance needed to create a one-of-a-kind work of art. Students are given absolute creative freedom to customize their pinch pot any way they can imagine! Attach 3D features, carve or stamp textured designs, or keep it smooth and simple! SESSION 2 -- GLAZE! Thursday, June 12th 4:00-6:00 Return to glaze for 1 or 2 hours, choosing from our selection of over 75 glaze colors. These projects will be take-home ready within 1-2 weeks after glazing. $50 registration per person includes everything; clay, tools, glaze, instructions and demonstrations, and 2 kiln-firings. All clay is stoneware, which is safe for food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Most glazes are food-safe, but a small selection are not, so students will be guided to use glazes with discretion. Bring your own hand towel and wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty! PARENTS & GUARDIANS! Carve out some quality time and make it a date!
